Ten dinosaur pairs on twenty wooden tiles, for a dinosaur gift, a Christmas Eve box, or a stocking, laser-engraved into premium Baltic birch.

Two versions. With names, one tile in each pair has the dinosaur's name engraved under the picture, so a child who knows a Triceratops by its frill can start matching the word to the animal. Without names, every tile shows the picture alone.

A child turns over two tiles, remembers where each picture sat, and goes back for its partner. Start with four or five pairs for a three-year-old and work up to the full board of twenty. The backs carry a scatter of small footprints, so the board looks finished face down. Each tile is about 2.5 inches square with rounded corners, finished by hand with food-safe beeswax and jojoba oil.

Open-ended by design. Sort the tiles into meat-eaters and plant-eaters, line them up from smallest to largest, use them as story prompts, or bury them in a sensory bin (filler not included) and match them as they are dug out. Wood is a natural material, so each tile varies slightly in grain and tone. We think that is part of the charm.
