FAQ
NODE (Network of On-Demand Education) is an all-in-one education marketplace where families and educators can discover curriculum, unit studies, physical and digital books, recorded courses, educational media, supplies, learning tools, resale educational materials, and more. Live classes, tutoring, workshops, memberships, experiences, and educational travel are coming soon.
NODE is for families, homeschoolers, educators, classroom teachers, tutors, independent learners, and anyone looking for educational resources. If you are building, supporting, or navigating learning in any form, NODE was made for you.
Not at all. NODE is built for all kinds of learners and educators, whether you homeschool, teach in a classroom, use a hybrid approach, work with a tutor, or simply want better educational resources.
Yes! Creating an account and browsing NODE are free. You only pay for what you choose to purchase.
You can find physical and digital products, curriculum, unit studies, books, recorded courses, educational media, school and art supplies, games, learning tools, resale educational materials, and more. Coming soon: live classes, tutoring, coaching, workshops, memberships, experiences, field trips, and educational travel.
NODE goes far beyond a standard marketplace. Our deep filtering system, personalized dashboards, and intelligent discovery tools help users find resources that actually fit the learner, not just generic search results.
You're not digging through random search results hoping something works. NODE actually helps you find what fits. Your learner, your style, your goals.
And it goes deeper than basic filters. Crazy deep. You can search by age, level, learning style, interests, subjects to start and then so much more. The more you use it, the smarter it gets. It learns what you're drawn to, what you skip, what you buy… and starts bringing you better and better options.
It doesn't just show you what's out there. It shows you what's right for you.
Your experience is built around you. When you join, your dashboard reflects your situation: homeschool, traditional classroom, hybrid, independent learner. From there, your learner profiles shape what you see based on age, learning style, interests, educational approach, and goals. NODE surfaces more relevant products, resources, and recommendations so you're not digging through things that don't apply. You still have access to everything on the platform, but what's shown to you is tailored to actually fit.
Because finding the right resources has always been the hardest part. Parents spend hours searching across dozens of platforms. Teachers piece together materials from disconnected sources. NODE brings everything into one place and shapes it around the learner, so families and educators spend less time searching and more time actually learning.
We believe every student is a genius at something. The problem has never been the learner. It's how limited and scattered education discovery has been. NODE was built to change that: one intelligent place where every type of educational resource exists, organized around how people actually learn, not how systems were designed to work.
Every vendor is reviewed and approved before they can sell on NODE. Beyond that, NODE runs a full quality control sweep across the platform every single night, reviewing materials to make sure they are appropriate, aligned with learning, and safe for our users. This isn't a free-for-all marketplace where anything goes live and stays unchecked. We are intentional about what lives here.
NODE was designed specifically for education. Instead of competing inside massive general marketplaces, vendors are placed in front of an intentional audience actively searching for educational products.
No! You can browse and explore NODE freely. No account needed until you're ready to make a purchase.
Yes! You can browse without one, but you'll need a NODE account to check out.
Go to inthenode.co and select Join NODE. Enter your details, verify your email, and you're in. From there, set up your profile and add your learners.
You must be 18 years or older to create and manage a NODE account.
No! NODE accounts must be created and managed by someone 18 or older. Parents, guardians, and educators can create learner profiles within their account.
Yes! Inside your account, go to My Learners and add a profile, then enter age, interests, learning level, and style. Each learner gets their own profile, and everything you see adjusts to fit them. NODE supports home/alternative education, classroom settings, hybrid part-time learning, and independent learners, so add as many learner profiles as you need.
Go to your account settings. You can update your name, email, and payment details at any time.
Select Forgot Password on the login page. We'll send a reset link to your email. If you don't see it, check your spam folder.
Yes! You can update any learner profile, or remove it entirely, anytime in your account settings.
Yes! You can request deletion in your settings. Once deleted, access to purchased digital resources is removed, so download anything you want to keep first.
You can search and filter by subject, age, level, learning style, resource type, and more. If you've created learner profiles, NODE uses that information to personalize what you see, so you're finding what actually fits, not just what exists.
Yes! NODE organizes resources by subject, type, format, age range, and more. You can browse broad categories or narrow down to exactly what you're looking for using filters.
Yes! Use filters to sort by price range, format (physical, digital, class, experience, etc.), age or grade level, and other criteria. Filters work together, so you can get as specific as you need.
Yes! You can add items to your wishlist to keep track of products you're interested in. Your wishlist is saved to your account, so you can come back anytime and pick up where you left off.
Try broadening your filters or adjusting your search terms. If you still can't find what you need, reach out through our help chat and we'll do our best to point you in the right direction.
Most products on NODE come from independent vendors. When you buy from a vendor, you're buying directly from them. NODE provides the marketplace, handles checkout, and processes payment so the whole experience feels seamless, but the vendor is the one behind what you're getting. Some products, like books, are sold by Unbound Goods, NODE's own storefront. For those items, you're buying directly from NODE, and we handle fulfillment and shipping. Unbound Goods products are final sale and not returnable, unless they arrive damaged, defective, or wrong.
The price you see on a listing is the vendor's price for that product. At checkout, your total also reflects applicable shipping, taxes based on your location, and a marketplace fee calculated separately for each vendor, including Unbound Goods: 6.5% of (item subtotal + vendor-set shipping - merchant-funded discounts), plus $0.75 once per vendor per order. Tax and NODE Shipping are excluded from the fee base. Wallet/store credits, points, gift cards, and NODE-funded promo codes are applied after the fee and do not lower its base. NODE+ (Coming Soon) members have the marketplace fee waived. Everything is itemized in your order summary before you pay, so there are no surprises.
You'll receive a confirmation email with your order details right away. Digital products are available in your library immediately after purchase and also delivered to your email. For physical products, the vendor will fulfill and ship your order, and you'll receive tracking information once it's on its way. Live classes, tutoring, memberships, and experiences are coming soon. Once they launch, those purchases will include scheduling or access details from the vendor.
Head to My Library in your account. All of your purchases live there, including digital downloads, order history, and tracking details. Once live classes and tutoring launch, you'll access those here too.
Yes! Digital purchases on NODE are yours to keep. Your access does not expire, so you can revisit your resources whenever you need them.
All payments on NODE are processed securely through Stripe, an industry-leading payment platform trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. Your card details are encrypted and tokenized at the point of entry and are never shared with or stored by vendors.
We currently accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay. Google Pay support is on the way.
Absolutely. Your payment information is processed through encrypted, PCI-compliant systems. Your card data is tokenized the moment you enter it, meaning your actual card number is never stored on our platform or accessible to vendors. Security is built into every layer of the checkout experience.
Start by checking your order history in your NODE account. Because NODE processes all marketplace transactions, purchases from different vendors may appear under NODE on your bank or credit card statement. If you still don't recognize the charge after checking your orders, contact NODE support through help chat before filing a dispute with your bank. We're happy to help identify it and get it resolved quickly.
If applicable, yes. NODE calculates and collects sales tax at checkout based on the product type, your location, and applicable tax rules. Tax appears as a separate line item at checkout and is not included in displayed product prices. NODE handles remittance in all required jurisdictions across the United States. If tax applies, you'll see it itemized before you complete your purchase.
NODE collects sales tax and remits it to the appropriate state and local tax authorities. It is not part of NODE's revenue or the vendor's earnings.
Sales tax rates vary by state, county, and city, and different product categories can be taxed differently. Some states tax digital goods and educational services, and some do not. Your total is calculated automatically based on your delivery address and what's in your cart.
Since NODE is the merchant of record for all marketplace transactions, your bank or credit card statement may show the charge under NODE rather than the individual vendor's name. This is normal. You can always match a charge to a specific order by checking your order history in your NODE account.
Your card network reviews the dispute, not NODE, and it can take several weeks to resolve. NODE coordinates with the vendor and provides order details where needed. Reaching out to help chat first is usually the fastest way to fix it.
Yes. NODE may suspend or close accounts involved in fraud, abuse of the platform, or repeated violations of our terms. If you think your account was suspended by mistake, email help@inthenode.co.
Refund eligibility depends on the vendor and the type of purchase. Digital products are final sale and are not eligible for refunds. For physical products, each vendor sets their own refund policy. Products sold by Unbound Goods are final sale and are not returnable (see below). We recommend reviewing the vendor's policy on their storefront before purchasing. If a refund is approved by the vendor, it will be issued to your original payment method. Any NODE Credits applied to the order will be restored to your account. Please note that the marketplace fee is non-refundable.
Unbound Goods products are final sale and not eligible for returns or refunds, except for damaged, defective, wrong, or missing items (see below). For everything else, refund requests must go through the vendor first. Each vendor sets and manages their own refund policy, so they are the only ones who can review and approve your request. You can reach them directly through their storefront on NODE. If you've contacted the vendor and are unable to reach a resolution, NODE support can step in. Reach us through help chat with the details and your latest correspondence with the vendor. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Any NODE Credits used on the order will be restored to your account.
No. Unbound Goods items are final sale and can't be returned or exchanged. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or wrong, or your order never arrives, contact NODE support for a replacement or refund. See the Unbound Goods Policy section for details.
Contact NODE support through help chat within 20 days of delivery with your order number and photos of any damage or the item you received. Please hold on to the item until we confirm next steps. In most cases, you won't need to send it back. We'll make it right with a replacement or a refund to your original payment method. If your package shows as delivered but never arrived, or your order hasn't shown up, let us know within 20 days of the expected delivery date and we'll investigate with the carrier.
Live classes, tutoring, workshops, and experiences are coming soon to NODE. Once they launch, each vendor will set their own cancellation and refund policy, and you'll be able to review the terms before booking. If something comes up, start with the vendor directly.
Live classes and experiences are coming soon. Once they launch, if a vendor cancels a class or experience you've booked, you'll be entitled to a full refund. The refund will be processed within seven business days of the cancellation. If you don't see it within that timeframe, reach out through help chat or email help@inthenode.co.
It depends on timing. If the order hasn't been fulfilled or shipped yet, contact the vendor directly through their storefront to request a cancellation. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled, but you may be eligible for a return depending on the vendor's refund policy. Digital products are delivered immediately and are final sale. Unbound Goods products are also final sale and can't be returned once shipped.
Shipping is managed in one of two ways. Some vendors handle their own shipping and set their own rates. In other cases, NODE manages shipping logistics through our fulfillment partners. Either way, you'll see your shipping cost at checkout before you pay, and you'll receive tracking information once your order ships. If anything goes wrong with delivery, start with the vendor through their storefront on NODE. For Unbound Goods orders, contact NODE support directly.
Yes! Once a physical order ships, you'll receive tracking information via email. You can also view tracking details anytime in My Library under your order history.
If something isn't right with your order, whether it's a missing item, a wrong product, damage, or a delivery issue, here's where to start.
Unbound Goods orders: Contact NODE support through help chat or at help@inthenode.co within 20 days of delivery, or within 20 days of the expected delivery date if your package never arrived. Include your order number and photos of the item and packaging. Please hold on to the item until we confirm next steps. In most cases, you won't need to send it back. We'll make it right with a replacement or a refund.
Orders from independent vendors: Reach out to the vendor first through their storefront on NODE. Vendors manage their own fulfillment and are in the best position to resolve order issues quickly. If the vendor is unresponsive or you can't reach a resolution, contact NODE support through help chat with your order number, a summary of the issue, and your correspondence with the vendor. Our team will review and work to get it sorted.
Vendors are generally expected to ship physical products within three business days, if not sooner, unless a different fulfillment timeframe is clearly listed on the product page.
Unbound Goods orders received by 10am (warehouse local time) ship the same business day. Orders received after 10am ship the next business day. Print-to-order titles ship the next business day after the order is received. Larger Unbound Goods orders may ship from more than one warehouse, so items can arrive in separate packages, each with its own tracking. Orders to PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses ship via USPS.
If a vendor can't fulfill your order within the stated timeframe, they're required to notify you and provide a revised shipment date. If the delay is unacceptable, you can cancel for a full refund. If you're not hearing back, contact the vendor through their storefront. Still no luck? Reach out through help chat and we'll step in.
Each vendor's items are grouped separately at checkout, so you'll see shipping calculated per vendor. Items from different vendors may arrive in separate shipments with their own tracking.
International availability depends on the vendor. Some vendors ship worldwide, while others are US-only. International orders may be subject to customs forms, duties, import taxes, and carrier handling fees, which are the buyer's responsibility.
Orders shipped through NODE Shipping include automatic coverage. If something is lost or damaged in transit, reach out through help chat with your order details and we'll work to get it resolved.
NODE is committed to building a trusted, high-quality marketplace that makes education accessible to everyone. We provide the platform, secure checkout, payment processing, and discovery tools that connect you with vendors. Individual vendors are responsible for their own products, services, fulfillment, and policies. While NODE does not guarantee vendor performance or product outcomes, we actively work to maintain a marketplace that meets high standards, and our support team is here to help if something doesn't go right.
Unbound Goods items are final sale. We don't accept returns or exchanges, including for change of mind, ordering the wrong title or edition, or items you no longer need. Please check the product details before you buy.
Unbound Goods orders start processing as soon as they're placed. Once an order is submitted, we usually can't change or cancel it.
If your item arrives damaged or defective, or you got the wrong item, we'll replace it or refund you. To get help:
- Contact us within 20 days of delivery through help chat or at help@inthenode.co.
- Include your order number and photos of the item and packaging.
- Keep the item until we confirm next steps. In most cases, you won't need to send it back.
If your tracking shows delivered but your package never arrived, or your order hasn't shown up, contact us within 20 days of the expected delivery date. We'll look into it with the carrier and send a replacement or a refund.
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Any NODE Credits used on the order go back to your account. Shipping fees are not refunded. The marketplace fee is not refundable.
This policy covers Unbound Goods products only. Items from independent vendors on NODE follow that vendor's own return policy, shown on their storefront.

NODE was designed specifically for education. Instead of competing inside massive general marketplaces, vendors are placed in front of an intentional audience actively searching for educational products.
If you create something that supports learning, you belong here. Educators, curriculum creators, tutors, coaches, program or app builders, product developers, retail merchants, and more. If it teaches, guides, or sparks something in a learner, it has a place on NODE. Tutoring, coaching, live classes, vendor memberships, and experiences are coming soon. Vendors receive their own storefront and can sell directly to a highly targeted education audience. Vendors must be legally authorized to sell their goods or services in their region.
Yes! International merchants are welcome on NODE. At this time, digital products and international letter mail subscriptions and services are approved for U.S. customers only.
Exception: Merchants with their own VAT and international tax compliance systems may be eligible to sell worldwide.
Already have international tax compliance in place? Contact help@inthenode.co and we'll help you get it connected to NODE!

Live classes, tutoring, coaching, vendor memberships, and experiences are coming soon. Physical or digital. Structured or flexible. If it supports learning, it fits.
Digital and physical, yes! Downloads, recorded courses, physical products, and resale are live now. Live virtual classes, tutoring, coaching, vendor memberships, and in-person experiences are coming soon. NODE is built to support every format, not limit you to one.
No! Zero commission and no monthly membership fee. You keep your full sale price. The only cost on your side is standard payment processing through Stripe. Shoppers pay a marketplace fee calculated separately for each vendor, including Unbound Goods: 6.5% of (item subtotal + vendor-set shipping - merchant-funded discounts), plus $0.75 once per vendor per order. Tax and NODE Shipping are excluded from the fee base. Wallet/store credits, points, gift cards, and NODE-funded promo codes are applied after the fee and do not lower its base. NODE+ (Coming Soon) members have the marketplace fee waived.

NODE provides the marketplace, payment infrastructure, and discovery tools. You own and run your business on it.
Email vendors@inthenode.co for help with your account, listings, or uploads. For anything else, reach us at help@inthenode.co.
No. Every vendor applies and is reviewed before selling on NODE, but NODE does not run criminal background checks on vendors or their staff, and we don't independently verify every credential. You're responsible for holding any license or certification your offering requires.
Tutoring and in-person services aren't available on NODE yet. They're coming soon. Planning to offer them? Email help@inthenode.co.
Yes! NODE does not allow products, services, or content that are illegal, unsafe, harmful, deceptive, or inappropriate for the marketplace. This includes:
- Illegal products or services
- Unsafe or recalled products
- Counterfeit, pirated, stolen, or infringing products
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or similar dangerous items
- Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia
- Alcohol, tobacco, vaping, or nicotine products
- Pornographic or sexually explicit material

- Products or services that compromise the safety or privacy of children
- False, deceptive, or intentionally misleading educational information
- Harmful misinformation
- Unsupported medical, therapeutic, developmental, educational-outcome, accreditation, or certification claims
- Products or services that violate applicable privacy, child-safety, intellectual-property, consumer-protection, or other laws
NODE may reject or remove any listing that it determines is unlawful, unsafe, deceptive, harmful, inappropriate for children or families, inconsistent with NODE's educational marketplace, or otherwise violates NODE's policies.
It depends on what you sell. Physical product vendors must maintain commercial general liability (CGL) coverage of at least $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, plus product liability coverage of at least $1 million per occurrence. Vendors offering only digital products or recorded content with no live interaction are encouraged but not currently required to carry coverage. Additional requirements may apply to in-person services involving minors.
No. Circumventing NODE to process transactions outside the platform is not permitted. All sales with customers you meet on NODE must go through NODE checkout.
Yes. NODE may suspend or terminate a vendor account for fraud or misuse, repeated policy violations, high dispute rates, or legal or regulatory issues.
You'll be notified with the reason. If you believe the removal was made in error, you can appeal by emailing help@inthenode.co.
Buyers can leave a review after completing a purchase. Reviews are public and visible on your storefront. Fake or harmful reviews are removed.
Any claims made in a listing must be truthful and appropriately supported. Vendors may not make false, misleading, or unsupported medical, therapeutic, developmental, or similar claims. NODE may remove listings that don't meet this standard.
Yes! Vendor offerings may include AI-created or AI-assisted content, but material use of AI must be disclosed on your storefront or listing. You remain fully responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of the offering.
Faith-based, religious, or worldview-based educational content is not categorically prohibited on NODE. If a material religious or ideological perspective is relevant to the product, it must be appropriately disclosed in the listing. Misleading or prohibited content is not allowed.
You may sell a third-party product only if you have the necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to sell it and use the related content. Counterfeit, pirated, or infringing products are prohibited.
Yes! You can respond directly to any review on your storefront. Keep it clear, helpful, and professional. It goes a long way with buyers.
NODE does not charge a sales commission. You keep your full sale price. The only costs deducted from your payout are standard payment processing fees, which are clearly reflected in your payout calculation. You'll always see the total order value, every fee applied, and your final payout itemized in your vendor dashboard. No surprises, no hidden costs.
When a customer purchases from your storefront, payment is processed through NODE and your earnings are automatically routed to your connected Stripe account. Funds typically appear as pending shortly after the purchase is made, become available based on standard bank processing timelines, and are deposited on a rolling basis, typically within 2 business days.
Payouts begin on a rolling basis after your first transactions are processed. Your initial payout may be held for standard verification, which typically takes 7 to 14 days for new Stripe accounts. Once verified, payouts are deposited on a rolling basis, typically within 2 business days.
Your payout is calculated from your product price plus any shipping you've set, minus payment processing costs and any discounts you choose to offer. Promo codes, NODE Credits, NODE Points, and gift cards that a customer uses are covered by NODE and never reduce your payout. Taxes are collected and remitted separately where applicable and are not included in or deducted from your payout. Every order is fully itemized in your vendor dashboard.
In certain cases, yes. Payouts may be temporarily delayed or held for fraud or risk review, active disputes or pending refunds, compliance verification, or unusual account activity. NODE uses Stripe Connect, so if a hold is placed, you'll be able to see the status directly in your Stripe Express dashboard.
No! There are no hidden fees on NODE. Standard payment processing fees apply to every transaction and are always reflected in your payout. Beyond that, additional costs may apply in certain situations, such as international payment fees, currency conversion, or dispute and chargeback fees. Every fee is surfaced in your order reporting so you always know exactly what you're paying.
It depends on who offers the discount. If you run a sale or create your own discount, that's your call, and your payout reflects the price you set. Anything NODE offers is on us. When a customer uses a NODE promo code, NODE Credits, NODE Points, or a gift card, NODE covers the cost and your payout stays the same. For example, if a customer uses a $10 NODE credit on a $100 order split between two vendors, each vendor is still paid in full.
Yes! Your vendor dashboard provides detailed reporting for every order, including the sale amount, all fees applied, any adjustments from your own discounts or refunds, and your final payout. Everything is itemized so you can see exactly how your earnings are calculated.
Yes! Vendors must connect and maintain an eligible Stripe account to receive marketplace payouts.
If you meet the applicable reporting requirements, your Form 1099-K will be provided through Stripe. Vendors remain responsible for their own income tax and other tax obligations.
Inside your dashboard, select Create Listing. Add your details, pricing, and files or links.
Yes! You can update your listings anytime from your vendor dashboard.
You set your own price for every listing.
Your storefront is your own page on NODE, where families can get to know you and shop everything you offer in one place. It includes:
- Header: your photo, name, business name, a short tagline and subject tags (like Science or STEM) that help families find you, plus a "read more" button for your full bio
- Bestsellers: a carousel of your most popular listings
- All Resources: a grid of every listing you have, which buyers can sort. Each one shows the cover image, format, title and price, with buttons to add it to their cart or save it for later
- Vendor Testimonials: reviews from families
- Meet the Vendor: a larger photo and a bio about your background and how you teach
It's your shop and your story, side by side.
Yes! Head to Profile settings in your vendor account to customize your photo and display name, store name, custom storefront URL, tagline, location, short and full bio, and subjects (separate them with commas, and they'll show up as tags).
You can list physical products, digital downloads, and services, all with the same "Post a new listing" form. In Step 1 (Listing Details), you describe what you're selling with two sets of checkboxes:
- Format: digital download, audio download, video or course download, ebook, or physical goods
- Resource Type: curriculum, study materials, school supplies, art supplies, unit studies, note-booking and note-taking, real world experience, worksheets, games and activities, class/course, tutoring, books, or travel and field trips
Heads up: live classes, tutoring, real world experiences, and travel and field trips are coming soon. Those options appear in the form, but please hold off on listing them until they launch.
You can upload up to three images per listing. Use high-quality photos that show your product clearly. The first image is what buyers see when browsing.
Yes! If you have a large catalog, you can add listings in bulk through your Vendor Portal. Use NODE's CSV template without changing the column headers. Required fields are product name, SKU, category, and price. Optional fields are description, image URL, inventory quantity, weight, tags, and status. A few rules to avoid errors: SKUs can't include spaces or special characters, categories must match the approved list exactly, prices should be listed in cents and use numbers only (e.g. $5.00 is 500, no $ sign), descriptions max out at 1,000 characters, and images must be public JPG or PNG links at least 800x800px. Leave inventory blank if it's unlimited. Set status to "active" to publish right away or "draft" to save without publishing. Files are limited to 500 rows and 10 MB per upload. See details here: Bulk Upload demo!
Yes! Your storefront can be updated anytime after it goes live.
Not yet - but multi-session programs, memberships, or subscriptions are coming soon to NODE!
Yes! You can offer promotions through discount codes.
Yes! Keep responses clear, helpful, and professional.
Not by chance. By fit. NODE connects your work to the right users based on age, stage, subject, learning style, and interests. As users build out their learners and classrooms, your products show up where they actually make sense. That means stronger purchase conversions for you.
Yes! If you choose to manage your own shipping, you set your rates, handle fulfillment, and shipping revenue is included in your payout.
Yes! With NODE Shipping, rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on the package details. NODE handles label generation and logistics on your behalf. Shipping costs are managed separately and are not included in your vendor payout.
NODE Shipping rates reflect the full shipping infrastructure we provide. That includes discounted carrier rates, automatic rate calculation, label purchase, address verification, tracking, branded tracking pages, claims automation for USPS and FedEx, and optional insurance, all in a single price with no operational overhead for you. Batch processing is included too, at no extra cost.
NODE Shipping supports USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Rates are calculated at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, and destination.
Yes! You can set free shipping on any listing. If you're using your own shipping rates, you control the pricing entirely.
If you manage your own shipping, you can ship wherever you choose. NODE Shipping support for international orders may vary. International orders may require customs forms and can incur duties, import taxes, and carrier handling fees.
Digital products are delivered automatically via email after purchase. No manual fulfillment needed on your end.
Yes! Vendors are expected to fulfill and ship orders promptly. Consistent delays can affect your standing on the platform and your buyer experience.
Yes! Provide valid tracking information for physical shipments whenever tracking is applicable.
Yes! Every NODE Shipping label includes automatic $100 coverage. If your product is worth more, you can add additional insurance at 1% of the declared value. If a qualified USPS claim needs to be filed, NODE handles it for you.
No! NODE calculates and collects applicable sales tax at checkout based on the customer's location. Taxes are added to the customer's total and are not deducted from your payout. NODE handles remittance in jurisdictions where we are required to do so, which is all states in the United States currently. You are still responsible for reporting your income and complying with any local tax obligations that apply to your business.
Multi-vendor orders are automatically split at checkout. Each vendor receives their own suborder with the relevant items, and payouts are calculated and issued independently. If the customer uses a NODE promo code, NODE Credits, NODE Points, or a gift card, NODE covers it, so no vendor's payout is reduced.
You are. As a vendor on NODE, you set your own refund policy and manage refund decisions. When a refund is issued, the refunded amount is deducted from your future payouts. Payment processing fees on the original transaction are not returned. We recommend clearly communicating your refund policy on your storefront so customers know what to expect before purchasing.
Yes! You define your own refund policy and display it on your storefront. NODE does not enforce a universal return policy for vendor products. Make it clear, make it visible, and make sure customers know what to expect before they buy.
No! Digital products are final sale. Once a digital product is delivered, it cannot be returned. This should be clearly stated in your listing and your refund policy.
Yes! You can issue a full or partial refund depending on the situation. Partial refunds are deducted from your future payouts just like full refunds.
That's up to you. Your refund policy should define the window. If a customer reaches out within your stated timeframe, you're expected to honor it.
Customers are encouraged to go to the vendor first. If the issue isn't resolved, they can reach out to NODE support. NODE may step in to help mediate, but the refund decision and cost remain the vendor's responsibility.
If a refund is approved after funds have already been deposited to your account, the refunded amount will be recovered from your future payouts or your available Stripe balance. If your balance is insufficient to cover the refund, your account may carry a negative balance until it's resolved through future sales.
If a customer files a dispute with their bank, it may result in a temporary hold on the disputed funds, a dispute fee from the payment processor, and a request for you to submit evidence supporting the transaction. The outcome is ultimately decided by the card networks, not NODE. We recommend responding to disputes promptly and keeping records of all order fulfillment and communication.
Live classes, workshops, tutoring, and experiences are coming soon. Once they launch, vendors can establish their own cancellation and refund terms for them, but they must be clearly disclosed to customers before booking. If you cancel a class or experience, you are required to issue a full refund within seven business days and notify the customer and NODE as soon as possible.
You'll be notified through Stripe with details about the dispute. From there, you can review the claim and submit evidence supporting the transaction. Respond promptly, and keep records of fulfillment and customer communication.

A place to give your educational materials a second life. NODE's resale marketplace lets users buy and sell pre-owned educational materials, keeping great resources in circulation and making education more affordable for everyone.
Any registered NODE user can participate in the resale marketplace.
Great learning materials shouldn't sit unused. Reselling them keeps usable educational resources in circulation longer, giving families and educators more ways to access what they need at a better price.
Used curriculum, educational books, manipulatives, school supplies, learning tools, and other educational materials. A good rule of thumb: would you buy it in its current condition? If yes, you're good to go! Resale is for physical items only. Digital products can't be resold.
Create a free vendor account and add your item listing. When creating the listing, select "Resale Item" to have it appear in the Resale section of NODE. Need to ship? Our one-click shipping option makes it simple to create labels and send your item.
List it, price it, ship it. Upload your item, add photos and details, set your price, and manage everything in your account. When it sells, you ship directly to the buyer.
You set your own price. Buyers can browse for the best value, and sellers retain full control over what their items are worth.
Sellers are expected to accurately disclose the condition of their items, provide clear photos, and note any meaningful wear or damage. Transparency is essential, and buyers deserve to know exactly what they're getting.
No! There are no listing fees or commissions for sellers. You keep your full sale price.

NODE rewards you for doing what you're already doing: investing in education. Every qualifying purchase earns you points, and those points turn into real savings on future orders.
You earn 1 point for every $1 you spend on eligible purchases. Points show as pending first, then become available to use after the return window closes.
100 points = $1 in shopping credit. So a $100 purchase earns you $1 back. It adds up.
Anything on NODE. Curriculum, courses, supplies, you name it. If it's on the platform, your points work toward it. Live classes, tutoring, and experiences are coming soon, and your points will work there too once they launch.
Apply them at checkout. That's it.
To check your points, head to My Wallet by clicking your name in the upper-right corner and selecting Rewards / Gift Cards. There, you’ll find your current points balance and full redemption history, all in one place.
Nope!
No! Points stay tied to your account.
No! Points are earned on the product purchase amount only. Taxes, shipping charges, and fees don't count toward Points.
No! NODE Points don't have a cash value. They can only be applied toward purchases on NODE.
No! The portion of a purchase paid for using Points does not earn additional Points. Only the cash portion counts.
NODE Credits are separate from points. They're account credits you can receive through referrals, promotions, or customer support. They sit in your NODE Wallet and aren't applied automatically: at checkout, check the box under NODE Wallet to use them on that order. Credits cannot be redeemed for cash and are tied to the account they were issued to.
Because learning should pay you back. The more you invest in education through NODE, the more you save going forward.
