Eight Halloween pairs on sixteen wooden tiles make this memory matching game a screen-free pick for a Halloween basket for kids, a boo basket, or a family game night in October. A witch on her broom, a spider web, a witch hat, a dancing skeleton, a bat, a crescent moon, a jack-o'-lantern, and a friendly ghost are laser-engraved into premium Baltic birch plywood, so each design sits in the wood itself.

Memory match asks a child to remember where a picture sat and find its partner, a skill that sharpens quickly with practice. Younger players can start with four or five pairs and turn them over one at a time, while older kids can take on the full board of sixteen and keep track of every tile. Each round also practices patience and turn-taking, whether the game is played with a sibling, a grandparent, or the whole table.

The backs are engraved with a scatter of small witch hats, so the board looks finished even when every tile is face down. Each tile is approximately 2.5 inches square with rounded corners and is finished by hand with food-safe beeswax and jojoba oil.

Open-ended by design. Play classic memory match face down, sort the tiles into friendly and spooky piles, use them as story prompts for a Halloween tale, or hide them in a sensory bin (filler not included) and pair them up as they are found. Wood is a natural material, and each tile varies slightly in grain and tone. We think that is part of the charm.
