A Catholic Homeschooling Legacy—Now Continuing into a Second Generation

Hello, I’m Maria—a Catholic mother of seven who has homeschooled for nearly two decades. Veritas & Virtue began at our own family table. Over the years, I learned that the resources mothers return to are not only beautiful; they must also be faithful, practical, flexible, and gentle enough for real family life. I also learned that mothers need encouragement—not only when they are beginning, but when they have been faithfully homeschooling for years and are tired, discouraged, or nearing burnout. Home education is about far more than finishing a curriculum. For many of us, it is part of the vocation God has entrusted to us: educating our children in love, forming them in virtue, and helping the little saints in our care grow closer to Jesus Christ and His Church. This work is beautiful, but it can also be demanding, and no mother should feel that she must carry it alone. Today, one of our daughters is homeschooling her own children. Watching this gift continue into a second generation has deepened my gratitude for the homeschooling vocation and my desire to walk beside other mothers. I pour my heart into resources that serve both the child and the mother—materials that make faithful learning more manageable, preserve room for beauty and prayer, and gently remind a mother that her daily work matters. My hope is that Veritas & Virtue helps you educate in love, remain rooted in grace, and grow in your own vocation as you help your children become the saints God created them to be.
