This is the true story of Whiskers, a gentle black-and-white cat who once lived in a shelter. Whiskers was a little older, and though she didn't have any teeth, her heart was full of love as she waited for a home of her own.

One day, Whiskers was adopted by Max's grandfather. At last, she had a new home where she could feel safe and happy.
