WAITING BY THE OCEAN FOR YOU a new play by Destiny Keller (LACC Class of 2021) gives us three people from different backgrounds, who create a bond through their shared affliction; addiction. The threesome quickly morphs from friends to a chosen family as they ride the waves of recovery, relapse, life, and loss. This new play shines a light into the darker corners of addiction, illuminating the fact that addicts and alcoholics are complex people full of love, grief, and hope.
