'She's not your typical fairy ...'

Don't read this book if you want a light-hearted story filled with fluffy fairies and rainbow-coloured unicorns, dancing across the sky, plucking harps and sprinkling magic dust. This is a fairytale of a different kind.

There is nothing 'typically fairy' about Mary, but when she is unexpectedly chosen for a dangerous quest across perilous country to retrieve the ancient Maker Stone, she discovers that being different can be your greatest strength.

Join Mary, Tully and Stinks - with some nasty ratlizard-type creatures, ant lions, shreeks and other scary things - for an adventure of self-discovery, friendship and just plain weirdness.
