The Great Picnic in Kingdom Animalia

A Story About Food Chains, Animal Groups, Nature, and Friendship

By Rebeca Gómez

Welcome to Kingdom Animalia - a magical world where glowing fireflies light the meadow, penguins slide down muddy hills for fun, octopuses perform underwater "wizardry," and every creature has an important role to play.

When curious Rosie Rabbit begins asking questions about the animals around her, wise Professor Owl invites her on an unforgettable adventure through forests, oceans, underground kingdoms, nighttime ecosystems, and the great web of life itself.

Along the way, Rosie discovers: how food chains work, why pollinators are essential, what makes mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, fish, and insects different, how ecosystems stay balanced, and why even the tiniest creatures matter.

Filled with heartwarming humour; rich watercolor-style storytelling; lovable animal characters; gentle science learning; ecological wonder; themes of kindness, curiosity, and cooperation

The Great Picnic in Kingdom Animalia beautifully combines educational discovery with cozy storybook charm, making complex nature concepts easy, memorable, and magical for young readers.
