This interesting book tells of a group of medical and dental volunteers who flew in small planes to villages in northern Mexico. Anne's trips as a member of LMV, Los Medicos Voladores in Spanish, were mostly routine, but a couple were not only exciting, but one became a near-death experience! You'll find this "short read" one that's very different from your normal non-fiction, for in an easy-to-read style you'll hear stories of the way the Flying Doctors cared for people, descriptions of villages they flew into, and the way of life in those small towns.
