The Curious Cat in the BoxA Kid's First Look at Schrödinger's Cat and the Weird World of Quantum Thinking

What happens when a curious child, a clever grandpa, and a sleepy cat come together in a garage full of science experiments? A box full of imagination-and a first look at one of the strangest ideas in physics!

In this playful and thoughtful picture book, young readers join Lily and her Grandpa, a retired scientist with a love for asking big questions. When their cat Noodles curls up in a cardboard box, Grandpa shares a fun thought experiment inspired by a real scientist named Schrödinger. Is Noodles asleep? Awake? Could she somehow be both?

Perfect for curious minds ages 5-8, The Curious Cat in the Box introduces the concept of quantum thinking in a way that's light, funny, and wonderfully kid-friendly. While it doesn't teach quantum physics directly, it invites children to wonder, imagine, and explore the kinds of questions scientists ask every day.
