Sixteen-year-old Liora Vale thought losing her mother was the worst thing that could happen.

She was wrong.

When her brother Finn vanishes during a violent storm, he leaves behind only a silver token and a compass that points downward.

Following its impossible direction, Liora discovers a hidden kingdom buried beneath the world-a place of ancient magic, forgotten secrets, and dangers older than history itself.

Somewhere beneath the city, Finn is waiting.

If Liora cannot find him in seven days, she may lose him forever.

But some worlds were never meant to be found.
