Once upon a time, on a tiny magical island, there roamed an abandoned and homeless potbellied pig named Flash. The Adventures of Flash is a modern fairy tale inspired by a true story. The real Flash was abandoned, left alone and homeless on a magical island. Flash is an orphan hero, not unlike Huckleberry Finn and Harry Potter. Flash is variously scared, sad, resourceful, loved, fun-loving, shy, strong, curious, intuitive, persistent, and brave. This book has an illustrated, interesting glossary that explains the fauna, flora, and Calusa Indians, and the adventure highlights Flash encounters.
