All over the United States, kids are hurting. They feel sad, left out, and alone.

But in Conway, Arkansas, hope has arrived!

A team of high school heroes called Mentors Empowered is stepping up to help. Equipped with their special blue t-shirts, these mentors meet elementary students where they are-on playgrounds, in hallways, and in classrooms-to offer help, encouragement, and support. Like all heroes, they know it's time to take action!

In Book 2: Spreading Joy, read the true stories of mentors making an unforgettable difference:

Jordan helps a boy who feels too small score the biggest shot of his life.

Lydia inspires a girl who was told she talks too much to share her amazing gift for storytelling.

Kim shows a little one how to find a break from worry by pointing out the beautiful details in nature.

Ashley helps a sad friend find the immense courage to ask a trusted adult for the help she desperately needs.

Every child has a story. Every mentor has a heart ready to listen. Open this book and see how kindness changes everything!
