In Reynard & the Day the River Slowed, a small child meets a clever friend.

Reynard is a fox who likes to figure things out on his own. When something in the forest doesn't feel quite right, he sets out to fix it the only way he knows how.

With a quiet nudge from Star Child, Reynard begins to see there may be another way one that considers not just the problem, but those around him.

Told in gentle rhyme and illustrated with warm, luminous scenes, this story explores what it means to be truly clever. It reminds readers that being smart isn't just about solving things, it's about how we share, how we listen, and how we care for others along the way.
