Reader Two is a medium level reader for adult literacy learners. It contains one simple sentence on each page. Each sentence has an image that gives a clue as to what the sentence is about. When a person's vocabulary is limited, images can help them understand what the text may be about. Once the learner sees the image again they can remember what words go with it which will help them read it better the second time. The images can also be used for discussion if the learner cannot read the words. This reader helps to build basic reading skills in adult literacy learners who are learning to improve their reading skills and also for ESL learners.
