When Ramadan begins, little Nura can feel something special in the air. The house glows with lights, the smell of soup fills the kitchen. Almost every day Nura finds a new light, in prayer, in caring and helping. As the days go by, Nura learns that the lights of Ramadan shine not only in the lanterns or the moon above.

This gentle, beautifully illustrated story introduces children to the month of Ramadan and the values of sharing and gratitude.

A great book to read together as a family or in the classroom.
