Meet Manuelita, a clever and fearless 8 year old girl from the golden deserts of Caborca, Sonora. Barefoot and bold and always up for an adventure. With her trusty pig, Chito (who thinks he's a dog) by her side, Manuelita stumbles into one wild ride that will lead your Corazon full. Told with caring and rich cultural flavor, this story will have your children giggling, dreaming, and asking for "just one more page". Whether you grew up hearing desert stories from your abuelita or your building new traditions with your Ninos, this book belongs on your family's shelf.
