A book about the life of Harriet Tubman. Around 1820, I am born into slavery in the state of Maryland with the name of Araminta Ross. My nickname is Minty. Maybe my name will change later. I am now 5 years old. My slave owner rents me to another family to take care of their baby. Whenever their baby cries, I am whipped by my master. Will I ever be free?
