Freddy Asks - What Is Love? answers a child's question, "what is love?" After asking his mother what is love, the answer is revealed to our young protagonist Freddy when in his dreams he observes juvenile animals interacting with their mothers in ways that demonstrate aspects of love, e.g., listening, sharing, celebrating, trusting, protecting, encouraging. When Freddy awakens from his dream, his follow-up conversation with his mother leads him to the understanding that these are ways we show love and that being loved feels like a warm, glowing light inside that makes us feel confident, and it makes out heart feel happy.
