"Do you believe in the magic of Christmas? I certainly do. Let me explain..."

"A few years ago, I was down on my luck, cold, hungry and generally feeling sorry for myself, when I learnt the true meaning of Christmas. You see, Christmas is not about getting the latest gaming console, a shiny new bike, or a car parked on the driveway wrapped in a ribbon. It's about experiencing an act of kindness from someone close to you or even a complete stranger... though whether the man in my story is a complete stranger remains open to question."

"And so, my friend, I wish you a very merry Christmas and one as unforgettable as mine was from all those years ago."

This illustrated book of Steve Connolly's poem, 'Father Christmas Visits Liverpool', demonstrates the true meaning of Christmas.
