Dewey DoGood: Does Good Deeds Written and created by Rita Ann Okunola, with Illustrations by Stephen Astel, Dewey DoGood: Does Good Deeds is a school-age book that teaches children what being "good" entails and looks like through the eyes of a sweet Welsh Corgi puppy named Dewey DoGood. Children often hear "be good," but what does that mean? What does that look like? This educational book highlights and addresses what being good is all about as Dewey ponders this question throughout his first day at a brand-new school and unknowingly does random acts of kindness witnessed by others. At the end of the day, he is rewarded for doing "good deeds" by the school principal, who gives him a Good Citizen medal.
