Murder, corruption and blackmail persist and The Shadow Club is still hard at work.

In an accidentally overheard conversation, Seth's mother discovers that one of her fellow newspaper reporters is involved in a plot to murder a protected FBI witness. He is working with a crooked police officer and being supported by a city councilwoman who has been corrupt for years. The Shadow Club girls take the lead in this case while Seth and the guys assume more supportive roles.

Their research immediately uncovers a corrupt FBI agent, so once again, FBI Special Agent Wilson French and his team get involved once again and begin their own internal investigation into those possibilities. After a series of cleverly executed interviews for the school newspaper, the girls uncover evidence of corporate tax and real estate fraud and other criminal activities that have been going on for many years. It all finally culminates in a brutal murder just outside of The Shadow Club's favorite restaurant.

Corruption Uncovered is a clean roller coaster story with surprises in every chapter that will keep you turning pages until the very end. It is the fifth installation in The Shadow Club series.
