Not All Christmas Wishes Should Come True

Miguelito has never had a real American Christmas. Sick since birth and new to this country, he watches other kids' celebrations from the outside. When he drags home a discarded artificial tree, strange things happen in their tiny apartment. Objects appear. Memories surface. Reality bends in ways that terrify and thrill him.

But as the tree grows beyond reason, Miguelito discovers it's feeding on something precious-his family's Cuban traditions, their stories, their very identity. Now he must choose: the glittering American Christmas he's always wanted, or the humble celebrations that connect his family to home.

A darkly whimsical holiday tale about finding where you belong-before you lose who you are.

Unwrap the mystery today with An Artificial Christmas.
