This is a colorful picture book about pet rooster. Earl is a real rooster who lives in the house with his family. he was bought by little girl named Anna from the farm store as a little tiny chick. He was growing up in the house and being held, fed and kept warm by the family members. It was not known until a few months later if he will be a hen or a rooster. To everyone's surprise he grew to be a rooster and developed an interesting personality. He is very curious and social. This book is about his trip to the beach and things he had experienced during this trip. I hope this little reader will enjoy the story.
