Isedale was a peaceful world where all legendary species co-existed in perfect harmony until something or someone infected Isedale, and the various species she houses.

And now it's up to the guardians to save Isedale and their people.

Avalon Connell has lived in a world where every decision is made for her as long as she can remember, but that life doesn't last long. When she's taken by the same creatures that kidnapped her father, her life is constantly flipped upside down.

Not only does she have to navigate her new life as a vampire and soon-to-be mother she also has to come to terms with who (and what) she really is before her time runs out.

If she does, then Isedale will be lost forever.
